Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Django Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications using Python and Django framework. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. The candidate should have strong backend development experience, problem-solving abilities, and a good understanding of modern software engineering practices.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django Design and implement RESTful APIs Write reusable, testable, and efficient code Integrate frontend components with backend services Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features Manage database design, queries, and performance optimization Implement security and data protection best practices Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Maintain proper technical documentation Deploy and monitor applications in staging and production environments

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Equivalent practical experience may also be considered

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in Python and Django development Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodology Experience with cloud platforms or Docker is a plus

Essential Skills

Python Django Django REST Framework (DRF) PostgreSQL / MySQL REST API Development Git & GitHub HTML CSS JavaScript Authentication & Authorization Debugging & Problem Solving Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Desirable Skills

Docker & Kubernetes AWS / Azure / GCP Redis & Celery CI/CD Pipeline Linux Server Management React or Vue.js Unit Testing & Pytest Nginx & Gunicorn Microservices Architecture
